Essential Steps For Lemonade Diet Success
One of the most common types of diets right now are the colon cleansing diets, like the one known as the Lemonade Diet or Master Cleanse. These are not meant to be weight loss diets but do often have the same effect. These diet, made popular by celebrities are made to help detoxification of your system.
While these diets have exploded in popularity over the last few years they are nothing new. If fact, the bases of this diet goes back over 60 years. That does not mean they have not changed over the years. Some companies have made kits just for it. While they might be a little more mild for some dieters, they are really not needed because there are currently several variations on the diet that will be a little easier for you and can be made right at home. One is done in three steps designed to help make it easy.
Stage one
Stage one is known as the “ease in stage.” Conversely, the third stage is the “ease out stage.” These are both made to help the changes that the body will go through. This is the largest change from the original Lemonade Diet. It is also the convenient way.
The first stage will last three days. The first day is not too bad. You will just be removing meats and non-fruit/vegetable juices That should not be too hard. The second day removes the fruits and vegatables and leaves you with just the juice. On day three you are almost there. You get to keep the fruit and vegatable juices but now add fresh squeezed orange juice and maple syrup with a little bit of water. You will want a full litters of this. Next will come the fun part; This is the lemonade portion.
Stage two
This is your lemonade portion. Each day you will start with three 1 liters bottles. In the first two you will want to add 7 tablespoons of fresh squeezed organic lemon juice, 7 tablespoons of maple syrup (grade B) and ¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper. The third is filled with distilled water. When you feel you need to eat, just have some of your lemonade then chase it with the water. This should keep you full.
The second part is not so fun and comes at the end of the day. Take one liter of water and add one teaspoon of the sea salt. Drink. It is best to do this at the sink as it is a little hard to hold down. Stay in the bathroom as you will react soon. Remain in there until you can go 15 minutes without eliminating.
At the end of two weeks you should be done with the diet. This does not mean, however, that you want to go out and enjoy a 40 ounce steak; you body will not be able to handle it. Instead, do step one in reverse. The only difference will be starting out with a full day of orange juice and maple syrup before going onto the next three days.
It is not the easiest diet but will help detoxify your system, you will just have to work for it.
